Silverado Medium Duty

If you’re a Barre or Burlington driver in need of a more powerful truck to conquer your biggest tasks, you’ve come to the right place. The

Chevy Silverado HD

lineup of medium-duty trucks offers a familiar Silverado experience that you expect from the 1500 but upgrades the performance output to make towing and hauling much easier than before.

What Are Chevy Silverado Medium Duty Trucks?

The Chevy Silverado HD lineup consists of two trucks for South Burlington and Essex shoppers to choose from, the 2500HD and the 3500HD. These trucks are outfitted with a more powerful engine that enhances torque, towing, and payload, a spacious cabin, and a wealth of highly advanced technology features for a premium experience that keeps you productive on-site.

What’s New for 2021?

If you haven’t yet upgraded to the superior performance capabilities of a medium-duty truck, 2021 is, in many ways, the perfect time. Arguably the biggest advancement this lineup has made is the improvement in maximum towing capacity. The Silverado 3500 HD is now capable of a maximum towing capacity of 36,000 pounds, up by 500 pounds over the previous year, when properly equipped with available suspension hardware and wheel packaging.

Performance

Under the hood of the Chevy Silverado medium-duty trucks is a 6.6-liter V8 that is paired to a six-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. This powertrain produces a performance output of 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque. If that’s not enough for you, there is an available Duramax diesel 6.6-liter V8 that maximizes the Silverado HD’s performance capabilities at 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque. The Duramax diesel pairs to a ten-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive is also available.
